Ear Reshaping surgery (Otoplasty)
There are some people who have a perfect facial shape, but have prominent ears or protruding ears that may make them sensitive about their appearance and create a poor self-image. The main structure of the ears is cartilage which can be reshaped, just like a rhinoplasty. The factors of concern in regards to ear reshaping surgery are ear characters, cartilage strength, and the age of people who desire to correct their ears. Post-operative care

• Sleep on your back and avoid sleeping on your side.

• Do not drink alcohol or smoke for a week after surgery.

• You should avoid strenuous exercise for 2 weeks following the surgery.

• Sleep on your back and avoid putting weight on your ear lobes.

• Apply medication and clean the incisions by your surgeon’s prescription.

• Bandages are placed on the incision in a period (depends on your surgeon’s discretion), and follow up with your surgeon.
